Getting started

How to ask for a service

Adults in the Antelope Valley are served by the North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC). These are Regional Center services, so your service coordinator there is the place to start.

  1. Talk with your service coordinator. Ask about the service you want, at your Individual Program Plan (IPP) meeting or before it.

  2. Add it to your IPP. The Regional Center authorizes the service and its hours through your IPP.

  3. Choose The HSN, if it’s a fit. Tell your service coordinator you’d like to work with The HSN. Service coordinators can send us a referral online.

Don’t know your Regional Center yet? Look it up on the California Department of Developmental Services website.
